Which regions does DeXnet give service to?
The DeXnet Eutelsat Eurobird II (25° East) satellite works everywhere in the coverage are of WideBeam and SuperBeam. Please consult the DeXnet Corporate Internet service page to see the coverage area maps.
In which regions does Dexar provide the DeXnet installation and service?
All of our installation staff members are trained and certificated, and make installation anywhere in Turkey.
Why is the DeXnet system supposed to be set up by a professional technician?
Only trained professional technicians can set up a two-way satellite system.
Can I buy the DeXnet device and use it in other countries?

I live 6 months in my house and 6 months in my summer house. Can I use the DeXnet device in both houses?

How will make my monthly payments?
All the payments should be made to the listed bank accounts. All the payments are made on a monthly basis and in advance.
How can I change the service type I bought?
Contact your Customer Representative for service changes. A service change is usually completed on the same day and you can start using it with your new service.
Do weather conditions affect the performance of the satellite system?
Because the antenna used for DeXnet service is more powerful than the antennas used for satellite TV services it will be affected less. Each region in the country has different weather conditions and the performance of the satellite TV service in your region will serve as reference for you.
Can I both send and receive data via the satellite antenna?
Yes, you do not need a telephone line or ISP for the DeXnet two-way satellite solution.
a DeXnet user use the services provided by other ISPs?
Yes, you can access any web page or e-mail server via DeXnet. In case you have DeXnet access, other ISPs may offer you discounts for web and e-mail services.
How many e-mail accounts can be taken with the DeXnet system?
Depending on the service type you chose, e-mail accounts are given free of charge.
Can the DeXnet system be compared to the standard dial-up connection?
The DeXnet satellite system provides an uninterrupted online access 10 or 20 times faster than the dial-up Internet access. The DeXnet two-way satellite system does not require a dial-up connection with another service provider and is online continually.
What are the security measures applied while a data transfer via Satellite?
Using the Triple Digital Encryption Standard (3DES), which is an industry standard, session-key technology and hardware encryption in the DeXnet system, the data that is broadcast by satellite becomes highly reliable.
Which applications does the DeXnet system support?
The DeXnet system supports all Internet applications such as Web browsing, FTP, e-mail. However, due to time out, it does not support remote hosting (Web Hosting, FTP Hosting...), interactive games and video conference applications requiring high amount of upload.
Can I use VPN with DeXnet?
Yes, but you should seek support from your Customer Representative because DeXnet and VPN require a special configuration.
Do I have to create a proxy server?
You may have to set up a proxy server depending on the service you bought and the structure of your local area network. If you have a real IP assigned for the DeXnet you bought, you will need to establish proxy for Internet connection sharing in your local network. If you do not demand a real IP with the DeXnet device in your network, you can connect the Internet without any need for Proxy thanks to the NAT feature. Please call the sales or technical support service for details.
How long will it take to set up the DeXnet system??
Within the borders of Turkey, the installation is made within 3 days after the customer has received the product. The real time of installation changes between 3 and 6 hours.
What does the installation include?
The installation technician will set up the external unit, and cable connection and satellite modem connection as well as check the Internet connection of the system. In addition to any configuration problem, installation telephone support is available.
Is technical support available?
Technical support is given for connection and troubleshooting in the DeXnet system 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Detailed support such as advanced configuration, multiple users and firewall is given within working hours during the week. Our expert and experienced technical personnel provide support in advanced job applications, routing and firewall applications.
